RMSER Early Learning Centers gives children a start in school and life by educating children, supporting families, and developing the professionals who work with them.
The RMSER Early Learning Centers focuses on early literacy skills, which are integrated in the curriculum and methodology used in the classroom and educates parents on the key role they have in their children’s educational success. Offered in centers located in Denver, Pueblo, Trinidad, Walsenburg, Sanford, Conejos, Alamosa, Grand Junction, Fruita, Parachute, Rifle and in partnership with partners at Fort Garland, Delta, Craig and Denver-Hope Center.
Based on five essential domains; Social/Emotional, Language & Literacy, Approaches to Learning, Cognition & General Knowledge, and Physical Development & Health. These goals are aligned with the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework, Colorado State Standards, Teaching Strategies Gold (TSG). In addition, the kindergarten expectations, as defined in the Colorado P-12 Academic Standards for all school districts, were accessed on line and are aligned.
