From the National Head Start Association... 

During the last congressional recess thousands of Head Start children and families and supporters Strolled-In to the local offices of their elected officials. The parade of strollers garnered local and national media attention which placed Head Start at the center of the Federal budget debate.

As Congress prepares for another recess next week, the threat of devastating budget cuts to Head Start still looms.
 
Your elected officials will be at home from March 21 through March 25. Let’s take this opportunity to remind them of the children in their community whose futures they hold in their hands!
